Function Follows Form

Form Follows Function’, a phrase coined by Louis Sullivan, is known as a principle that the shape of an object should be based upon its proposed function. I have focused on the human biology system, which functions with the structure of individual’s genetic information. Function of each cells are decided by its DNA’s structure, the form. I reenacted the saying as ‘Function Follows Form’ by intertwining the human-like color and texture into a mechanical part.
